Balanced Diet and Ramadan, Concept of Intermittent Fasting

Preparations for Ramadan begin in earnest before the arrival of Ramadan, with more emphasis being placed on grocery shopping so that there is no shortage of food and drink and ensuring that Sehri and Iftar are complete. A wide variety of food is available, and the table is spacious.

The balanced diet in Ramadan is compulsory for healthy living style.

The length of the fast depends on the individual's stamina, but the majority of people adhere to the eighteen-six rule, which calls for eighteen hours of fasting and six hours of eating, during which two or three meals are consumed. While fasting, water is consumed to preserve mineral quality and prevent dehydration. Water is consumed during fasting which prevents dehydration and maintains mineral quality.
